Quite famous as Vrat ka khana, this one is a filling delight. Despite being packed with

calories and starchy carbohydrate, it tastes good. Make sure you squeeze in lemon juice only

after turning off the flame to avoid the breakfast from turning bitter. Opt for the smaller,

pearl white sago for preparing this.

Ingredients:

Sabudana [Sago] 1 ½ cups

Potato – 1, medium sized, peeled, chopped21 into fine cubes

Peanuts – ¼ cup

Green chilies – 5, slit lengthways

Clarified butter – 3 tbsp.

Curry leaves – 12, chopped roughly

Cumin seeds – 2 tsp

Lemon juice – 2 tsp

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp., finely chopped [optional]
